From this number, I will select less than 100 plants for further evaluation. The remaining seedlings are offered for sale for general garden plantings, perennials beds, or mass plantings. The majority of these plants are large flowering (4.5" to 6.5" bloom size)  tetraploid daylilies and are mixed colors. The parents of all of these seedlings are new and recent introductions, costing from $100 to $200 each, and come from major daylily hybridizers across the country.
